The above left photo illustrates the changing nature of downtown; the Miller Theater closed permanently around this time and would be knocked down two years later to make room for the Bank IV parking garage. Long-time Wichita businesses Wilbur E. Walker Co. and Moler's Camera, both still exist today in other locations. Most of this block is now empty and has been for years.
