Howard
and Helen Day's 1963
The data plate on this 1963 convertible shows it was built October 2, 1962 and was only the 8,279th Ford vehicle built for the 1963 model year. It left the Wixom plant as a Silver Mink Metallic car (color code G) with silver-blue metallic interior (code 50) headed for the Kansas City sales zone. 40 years passed before a complete restoration of the car was begun by R-K Restorations and completed by Devlin Rod and Custom of Wichita. Today this beautiful red bird with pearl interior, black carpet, tonneau cover, roadster wheels and white convertible top is owned, shown and enjoyed by Howard and Helen Day of Wichita.
