Mike & Ann Mawhirter's 1963

This pretty little 1963 bluebird was assembled in late 1962 at Ford's Wixom, Michigan plant. In 1982 this car received a complete restoration in Idaho. The owner died at age 93 and the car went to a niece in Michigan, after which it was kept in storage and driven rarely; it has been driven only 8,900 miles since 1982! The current owner, who has owned many classic and special-interest Fords through the years, purchased this car in February 2007. Now in the hands of an active cruiser and destined for fun times with the Mid-Kansas Vintage Thunderbird Club, this '63 hardtop is owned and maintained by Mike and Ann Mawhirter of Derby, Kansas.
