Chip & RaeJean Meeks' 1969

This '69 hardtop was assembled January 13, 1969 and left the assembly plant painted Black Jade Metallic (color code C) with a Nugget Gold interior (code 4Y). Ordered from the Kansas City district, the car was sold new by Coldwater Motors of Coldwater, Kansas to a woman named Pearl Gerhart. In recent years, it has been updated with a new engine, new front springs, suspension and steering parts, and a new exhaust system.

The current owner purchased this car for his wife on Valentine's Day, 2004. Asked why he purchased this car when he already owned a '68 Thunderbird, he explained, "One 'Bird just isn't enough."

This '69 is owned by club members Chip & RaeJean Meeks of Derby, Kansas. They also own this 1971 Landau.
