| 1934:
Police Station, 109 E. William. In
1933, the city received relief funds and free labor from
the federal government, to be used to convert the old Central
Fire Station into a "modern" police station.
The building's face received a sleek Art Deco makeover,
and extensive remodeling took place within as well. A small
park exists on the spot today. |
